Students - Missions

Mulder students are directly and indirectly involved in different areas of outreach and mission work around the world.  We take an annual mission trip each summer, we serve with local ministries in the Wetumpka area as well as within the ministries of Mulder Church.  We also support various organizations serving in other countries.  Find out how you can be involved!

We headed to Chattanooga, TN and Benton Harbor, MI this past summer (2011) with an organization called YouthWorks!  There we served alongside local community members and ministries meeting the needs of the people we came in contact with.  We will be partnering with YouthWorks! once again during the summer of 2012 and heading to Savannah, GA and New Orleans, LA!  Look here for more information in the coming months.  Click here for more information about YouthWorks!

LUO is a missions organization dedicated to setting "children free from the bondage of poverty."  They are currently serving in South Africa and Nicaragua.  The Mulder students support a young boy named Busisiwe who is an orphan in Ithemba, South Africa.  Hanging in the student area of the church is an original painting with the actual footprint of this little boy.  It serves as a constant reminder of the needs of others all around the world.

"DRINK COFFEE. DO GOOD."  That is the motto of Land of 1000 Hills Coffee Company.  LOTH is an has created a really unique way for churches to become active participants in the restoration and reconciliation of the people of Rwanda, Africa.  Mulder students have taken the opportunity to support this ministry by setting up a Coffeehouse on a Wednesday night and brewing and selling the coffee.

The Mulder students have helped from time to time with various projects at the Adullam House here in Wetumpka, AL.  The Adulluam House is a ministry dedicated to serving the needs of children of incarcerated parents.  It is a unique ministry with an incredible story of God's grace and goodness in meeting all of their needs.
